Sasaram : One person was killed and the pillion rider injured when their bike collided head-on with a speeding three – wheeler near Bharat Kasba Mor under Karakat police station in Rohtas district on January 31,2019, evening.
Police brought the body to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Sri Ram Pandey, son of Ran Vijay Pandey of village Bhakura, while the injured were identified as Lakhan Pandey of the same village in Bhojpur district and Sunil Kumar Sah of Duwari village under Karakat police station in Rohtas district.
SHO, Karakat police station, Santosh Kumar Singh said that Sri Ram Pandey and Lakhan Pandey were going to their native village Bhakura on a motorcycle. When they reached near Bharat Kasba Mor, a speeding three-wheeler collided head on with the motorcycle in which Sri Ram Pandey was killed on spot and pillion rider Lakhan Pandey and a passenger of the three-wheeler Sunil Kumar Sah were injured. The driver of the three-wheeler escaped with the vehicle after the accident.
