Ara : Altogether 1,800 cases were settled at the National Lok Adalat (NLA) organized on Ara Civil Court campus on December 8, 2018. District and Sessions Judge Amrendrapati Tripathi inaugurated the NLA.
Narendra Kumar, Secretary, District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), said that at least 11 benches were constituted for the purposes and at least 1,800 compoundable and non-compoundable cases were disposed off at the NLA without any cost. He said that it also removed unnecessary burden, tension, and money of the persons concerned. It was a step further in dispensing quick justice. He said cases related to banks, forest department, matrimonial and family dispute, transport, civil cases, revenue cases, electricity and water bill and other cases were disposed off at the NLA.
