Patna : Four Chief Engineers (CEs), two Superintending Engineers (SEs), and two Executive Engineers (EEs) of Water Resources Department (WRD), Bihar Government, were found absent from their respective places of posting during a random mobile phone tracking carried out by a Joint Secretary- cum – Director, Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation, of the department, Gorakhnath on November 8, 2018. The department has decided to take stern action against these engineers.
The four chief engineers found absent from their respective places of posting during random mobile phone tracking are : 1. Suresh Chaudhary, CE, Irrigation, Gaya 2. Rameshwar Chaudhary, CE, Irrigation, Dehri in Rohtas district, 3. Prakash Das, CE, Flood Control and Drainage, Birpur, Supaul, and 4. Shailendra Kumar, CE, Irrigation, Bhagalpur.
The two SEs found absent were : 1. Binod Kumar Das, SE, Irrigation Circle, Punia, and 2. Rajendra Kumar Mehta, SE, Mahananda Flood Control Circle, Katihar. The two EEs found absent were : 1. Jamil Ahmad, EE, Head Works Division, Valmikinagar, West Champaran, and 2. Mohd Sabbir, EE, Bagmati Division, Runnisaidpur, Sitamarhi.
It may be mentioned here that one Chief Engineer and 4 SEs were found absent from their places of posting during random mobile tracking on November 6, 2018.
