Ara : Bhojpur police busted an inter-state gang of vehicle lifters and arrested four of its members including the mastermind on November 30, 2017.
SHO, Bihia police station, Bimlesh Paswan said that a tractor of Shayam Narayan Mishra was stolen from village Mishrauli village under Bihia police station on November 29, 2017, night. Mishra informed Bihia police about the theft on November 30. Police chased the vehicle lifters following the GPS system fitted in the tractor and reached village Jigarsanda under Khijari police station in UP and with the help of their UP counterpart recovered the tractor parked at the gate of Makardhwaj Singh, 40, son of Awadh Bihari Singh of Jigarsanda, allegedly the kingpin of the gang.
Police arrested Makardhwaj Singh along with Shashikant Tiwari, 25, son of Dadan Tiwari, Rahul Tiwari, 19, son of Shiv Nandan Tiwari of Badaki Nainijor, and Neeraj Rai, 22, son of Yogendra Rai of village Sarangpur under Bahoranpur police outpost. Bihar police brought all of them over along with the tractor and were interrogating them till the filling of this report. Police also seized a motorcycle and a dagger.
