Ara : Police arrested a notorious criminal Rohit Singh alias Tapali of village Beldihari in Bhojpur district near New Bus Stand under Piro police station on May 23, 2018, night, and sent him to jail. Police seized a .315 country made pistol, a live cartridge, and a blank cartridge from his possession. Rohit Singh is said to be son of a CRPF Inspector.
SHO, Piro police station, Janmjay Rai, said that Rohit Singh had come to Beldihari village with aplan to implicate Munna Singh of the same village in a case by placing a pistol at his shop. Police got information about it and immediately laid trap around the shop of Munna Singh and as Rohit Singh came there to keep arms at the shop, police nabbed him. The SHO said that police had arrested Rohit Singh in 2017 with fire arms and added that he was a named accused in making captive wife of Munn Singh.
