Ara : One Chhota Kushwaha was shot dead at Saheb Tola under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district in a clash with rival group on May 27, 2018 afternoon. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident. An FIR has been lodged with Bihia police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
SHO, Bihia police station, said that a long standing land dispute was going on between Chhota Kushwaha and Pappu Singh. On May 27, Chhota Kushwaha along with his supporters was getting 13 kattha of his land at Saheb Tola measured for boundary construction when Pappu Singh arrived there. Both had a scuffle first but later Pappu Singh fired on Chhotu Kushwaha. Chhota Kushwaha received bullet injuries and succumbed to his injuries on way Ara Sadar Hospital.
