Patna : World No 6 Marin Cilic, 29, Croatia,  World No 21 Nick Kyrgios, 23, Australia, and former World No 1 Novak Djokovic, 31, Serbia, entered the semi-finals of Queen’s Club Championship, London, on June 22, 2018.

Top seed Marin Cilic defeated World No 13 Sam Querrey, 30, USA, 7-6, 6-2, in the quarter-finals on June 22. Cilic hammered 10 Aces to 7 by Querrey. Cilic two break points while Querrey did not win a single.

World No 22 and winner of 12 Grand Slam titles Novak Djokovic beat World No 26 Adrian Mannarino, 29, France, 7-5, 6-1, in the quarter-finals indicating he is returning to form. Djokovic fired  6 Aces in the match while Mannarino fired 4. Both the players committed two double faults each. Djokovic won 4 break points while Mannarino won just one. Djokovic had also easily beaten World No 5 Grigor Dimitrov, 27, Bulgaria, in the Round of 16.

World No 21 Nick Kyrgios, 23, Australia, beat World No 37 Feliciano Lopez, 36, Spain, 7-6, 7-6, in the quarter-finals on June 22. Kyrgios hammaered 32 Aces in the match compared to 16 by Lopez. Kyrgios though committed 4 double faults to 2 by Lopez. It was a very close contest.
