Patna : Top seed and World No 6 Marin Cilic, 29, Croatia, beat former World No 1 Novak Djokovic, 31, Serbia, in a three-set thriller in the final on June 24, 2018, to win the Queen’s Club tennis championship, an ATP 500 Grass Court event at London. Cilic beat Djokovic, the winner of 12 Grand Slam titles, 5-7, 7-6, 6-3 in the final. This was Cilic’s second win over Djokovic in 16 meetings.

Cilic, a Wimbledon finalist in 2017, hammered  18 Aces in the match to Djokovic’s 12. Djokovic committed 5 double faults while Cilic committed 6 double faults. Both the players won one break point each. Both of them also won three games in a row each. Cilic’s winning percentage on bothe first and second serve was better than that of his rival.
