Bagaha : The CPI(ML) activists staged a day long dharna near Sub-Divisional headquarters, Bagaha, on July 17, 2018, to protest recent incidents of atrocities on dalits and tribals by feudal elements and increasing incidents of crime. They alleged that poor and innocent people were being implicated in false cases.
A meeting was held at dharna venue which was addressed by many CPI(ML) leaders including Birendra Gupta, Dayanand Dwivedi, Lal Babu Prasad.They criticised the Nitish Government saying it had failed on many fronts. Later, a CPI(ML) delegation led by Bhikhari Prasad and Parsuram Yadav met the SDM, Bagaha, and demanded stern action against a doctor of Primary Health Centre(PHC) of Bagaha town for dereliction duty during duty hour due to which a poor woman Sunita Devi died recently after delivering a baby.
