Patna : Three cops were injured when Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) workers pelted them with stones on stones on July 19, 2018, during Fatuha Bandh in Patna district. The JAP had called for Fatuha bandh to protest the delay in arrest of the accused of Shefali International School student murder case. The boy was killed at the school hostel.

JAP activists also blocked Bakhtiyarpur state highway placing burning items on the road. They not only disturbed the people, they also pelted cops with stones causing injuries to three of them. They charged Fatuha DSP and SHO, Fatuha police station, with being negligent in handling the case. Later, additional force rushed to the spot and chased away the protesters.

Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj has said that accused would be arrested at any cost. He, however, added that those attacking policemen would also not be spared.
