Muzaffarpur : Former Muzaffarpur Mayor Samir Kumar and his driver Rohit Rai were gunned down by unidentified criminals carrying AK 47 near Benaras Bank Chowk under Town Police Station, Muzaffarpur, on September 23, 2018, evening, when they were moving in a car.
The incident created panic in the town. Muzafarpur DM Mohd Sohail, SSP Harpreet Kaur, City SP, Muzaffarpur, and other officials are camping on the spot. Resentment prevails among the locals following the incident.
Former Mayor Samir Kumar owned a Mall and also dealt in real estate.
