Bhojpur police identify 3 more persons involved in printing fake notes

Ara : Police seized a bundle of paper meant for printing fake currency notes from village Raghunipur  under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on January 11, 2019, evening, and also identified three persons : Adarsh of Rampur village under Chandi police station, Dheeraj of Badiha village under Sandesh police station, and Jitendra Singh of Jamuao village under Sandesh police involved in fake note racket.

SDPO, Pankaj Kumar, said that police had arrested five persons including three women : Guddu Kumar, son of Daroga Singh of village Badiha, Nagendra Singh of Jamuao village under Sandesh police station, his wife Rekha Devi, daughters-in-law Devanti Devi and Neha Devi along with about 33,000 counterfeit notes, two printing machines, and papers being used for printing  fake notes. The SDPO further said that the arrested persons confessed their involvement in printing of fake notes on demands and having circulated fake notes worth the face value of about Rs 6 lakh in the market at a commission of about 70% within three months.

During interrogation, the arrested persons revealed that Pintu Singh trained them and ordered to print fake notes and also told about their syndicate, said the SDPO and added that police, on their revelation, conducted raids at village Raghunipur under Udwantnagar police station on January 11 evening and seized a bundle of paper being used for printing of fake notes and a fake note from the house of Pintu Singh. He said that names of Pintu Singh of Bihta in Patna district had figured along with Pintu Singh of Raghunipur under Udwantnagar police station in the racket.

Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar said that all the members of gang had been identified and police would soon arrest all of them.
