New Delhi : In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Constitution (One Hundred and Third Amendment) Act, 2019, the Central Government has appointed January 14 2019, as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force, according to a PIB release. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment issued Gazette notification to this effect on January 14, 2019.
