Chas ( Jharkhand) :  Wearing colourful dresses more than 500 students of all classes of DPS Chas in Bokaro district entered the school campus by 8.30 am on January 12, 2019, cheering repeatedly as it was a Picnic Day for them.

As it was announced earlier that no one should come with study materials but rather plan how to enjoy the occasion along with their teachers, the students were seen laughing, singing, chatting or cracking jokes with their mates. As the school had arranged for delicious food items including Muffins, Noodles, Chole-Bhature, Chilly Paneer, Chocolates and sweets, the students just relished the food items.

Several games were also organised on the occasion while class teachers narrated them stories throwing light on importance of picnics which not only entertains children but also educates them how should one  maintain discipline while staying in group. Promising better opportunities for students in coming year, school principal Neelkamal Sinha said that the school was grooming the the students for their all round progress and development.
