Ara : Some unidentified miscreants shot at and injured a girl in Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station, Ara, on December 16, 2017. She was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained as neither the girl nor her family members said anything about the incident.
SHO, Nawada Police Station in Bhojpur district, Subodh Kumar, said that Nitu Kumari, daughter of Rajiv Singh of Agrer Kala under Dinara police station in Rohtas district, lives at a rented house in Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station preparing for Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam. On Decembr 16, she had gone to a cowshed (khatal) to bring milk where some unidentified miscreants shot at and injured her and escaped from the spot.
