Man arrested with firearm at Buxar village

Buxar: Police arrested Amresh Tiwary, a resident of village Yogia in Rohtas district, from village Gogaura under Dhansaoi police station in Buxar district on May 16, 2018, and seized a countrymade pistol and live cartridges from his possession. Later, police forwarded him to jail. A named FIR has been lodged with Dhansoi police station against him.

SHO, Dhansoi police station, said that Ramesh Rai of Gogauri village under Dhansoi police station had married his daughter to Amresh Tiwari, son of Bharat Tiwari of Yogiya village under Dinara police station in Rohtas district, but their relation was strained hence she lived with her parents at Gogauri village. On May 16, morning, Amresh Tiwari reached Gogauri village allegedly to kill his wife but his in-laws caught him and handed him over to police.
