Bokaro ( Jharkhand) :  A six- member team of anti- corruption bureau (ACB) team led by DSP Chandradeo and magistrate Deepmala arrested Mukesh Kumar, private assistant (PA) to Bokaro Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mritunjay Kumar Burnawal, red handed accepting Rs 70,000 as bribe at DC residence cum office on December 6, 2018.

Mukesh Kumar, a head clerk in Civil Supply Department cum PA to Bokaro DC, started  his career as Computer Operator but in very short span got very close to top Babus of district administration. As per DSP, ACB, a complaint was lodged against Mukesh few days back after he demanded Rs 1 lakh as bribe for clearance of an important file pending at his office. He had allegedly demanded an advance Rs 70,000 as first installment.
On December 6 morning, the anti corruption sleuths reached DC residence cum office and laid the trap. As soon as bribe was paid, the cops rushed to nab the clerk who started running to escape but was arrested after a small chase. Later, Mukesh was taken to Dhanbad ACB office for interrogation.
