Patna : New Zealand (NZ) were 272/4 in 104 overs in their second innings at stumps on day 4 in the third test against Pakistan at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE, on December 6, 2018, with captain Kane Williamson, 28, batting on an unbeaten 139 in 282 balls with 13 fours and Henry Nicholls batting on 90 in 223 balls with 8 fours.

It was 19th test century of Williamson, who had scored 89 in the first innings.  Williamson and Nicholls have so far added 212 runs for the 5th wicket. Former captain Ross Taylor scored 22 while night watchman William Somerville was out for 4. New Zealand, who were all out for 274 in their first innings, are leading by 198 runs.

Pakistan were all out for 348 in their first innings with Azhar Ali, 33, scoring 134, his 15th century, and Asad Shafiq, 32, scoring 104, his 12th test century.
