Ara : First Class Judicial Magistrate, Siwan Civil Court, A K Tripathi, on March 5, 2019, issued warrant of property attachment against the then District Agriculture Officer (DAO), Siwan, Sanjay Nath Tiwari, who is at present posted at Ara in the same capacity.

An employee at the DAO office at Siwan Heera Lal Ram of Salempur under Mahadeva Police Outpost had filed a complaint case in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan Civil Court, on September 25, 2010, against Sanjay Nath Tiwari of village Amawa Bujurg of Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh, the then Block Agriculture Officer (BAO), Aandar, and Sampat Bhagat of Sahasrao under Asaon police station in connection with alleged embezzlement of government fund meant for agriculture tools between 2008 to 2010.

The court took cognizance against them and all the three named accused got bail in the case. In the meantime, the bail of Sanjay Nath Tiwari was cancelled on July 12, 2018, as his advocate did not file attendance in the court on his behalf and the court issued non-bailable warrant against Sanjay Nath Tiwari but he did not appear before the court. The court took serious note of it and issued warrant of property attachment against Tiwari through the Siwan SP Navin Chandra Jha on March 5, 2019, and ordered to paste the notice on the wall of his house.
