Patna : Star shuttler Kidambi Srikanth, 26, India, has slipped one place to be ranked World No 8 in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released on February 12, 2019, with 60,470 points from 14 tournaments.

Kento Momota, 24, Japan, Shi Yuqi, China, Chou Tien Chen, 27, Chinese Taipei, and Chen Long, 30, China, remain World No 1, 2, 3, and 4 with 1,04,750, 87,422, 80,824, and 75,138 points respectively. Son Wan Ho, South Korea, and Viktor Axelsen, Denmark, are World No 5 & 6 with 74,922 and 68,614 points respectively. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Indonesia, has jumped one to be ranked World No 7 with 60,680 points points.

Sameer Verma, 24, India, is World No 13 with 55,711 points while H S Prannoy, 26, India, is ranked World No 19 with 45,610 points. B Sai Praneeth, 26, India, has dropped 2 places to be ranked World No 28 with 41,297 points while Subhankar Dey, 25, India, is World No 48 with 31,000 points.

Parupalli Kashyap, 32, India, is World No 50 with 30,800 points. Sourabh Verma, 26, India, elder brother of Sameer Verma, is World No 55 with 28,890 points while Ajay Jayaram, 31, India, is World No 59 with 28,570 points. R M V Gurusaidutt, 28, India, has jumped 2 places and is World No 77 with 20,550 points while Mithun Manjunath, India, has dropped 1 place is World No 94 with 18,140 points.
