Ara : A Greengrocer was killed while two motorcycle borne youth were injured near Behara hospital under Dhobaha police outpost on Ara-Salempur main road in Bhojpur district on February 7, 2019, evening, in an accident. Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Subedar Pandit of village Purushottampur under Ara Muffasil police station.
SHO, Dhobaha police outpost, said that Subedar Pandit dealt in fruits and vegetables at Salempur Bazaar under Dhobaha police outpost. On February 7 evening, he was returning home on his bicycle. When he reached near Behara Hospital, a speeding motorcycle from Ara collided head-on with his bicycle killing Subedar Pandit on spot while the two youth on motorcycle were injured.
