Patna : Bihar Government on July 23, 2020, allowed Dr Deepak Prasad, a 1989 batch IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, Bihar, to take voluntary retirement with effect from July 22, 2020. Dr Prasad, who had done PG in Medicine, was promoted to Apex Scale on May 30, 2020. He was scheduled to retire on August 31, 2020.
Sanjay Kumar, a 1990 batch IAS officer and Principle Secretary, Tourism Department, has been given additional charge of Principle Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on July 23, 2020.
